Claire McMurray holds a doctorate from Yale and worked at a university writing center before leaving the workforce to care for her special needs daughter. She is the creator of the blog I Don’t Know How You Do It and publishes on the topics of special needs parenting and disabilities. Her work has appeared on a variety of online parenting websites and in Kaleidoscope Literary Magazine. Her creative nonfiction has won local and state-wide writing contests and she was named a finalist for the Women on Writing Creative Nonfiction Essay Contest in 2023.
