I was raised mostly in southern Missouri. As a child, I spent way too much time in libraries where one librarian claimed I “checked out too many books.” I speed read my way through True Romance Magazine, Mad Magazine, National Lampoon, and any adult novel in my path. Growing up with three siblings and an unconventional extended family, I had a wealth of material for a book project of humorous essays and life experiences as well as lots of ideas for light hearted romance fiction. Along the road to living in KC, KS, with Mark and a needy cat, I published articles in local alternative newspapers and magazines and got a B.L.A. degree at UMKC. I am looking forward to seeing many creative works come to life.
