Katherine Laurels is the youngest of seven children with a seven-year age gap between her and the next eldest. A bit of a loner, she developed quite an imagination. She began to write down her stories at the age of fourteen. Later she wrote nonfiction and opinion pieces for her high school newspaper.

After marrying her high school sweetheart, she threw out all her stories because it was time to “be an adult” and stop fantasizing. With years of adulting under her belt, Katherine has unchained her imagination once more. From fantasy and paranormal to contemporary first responders she writes, and endeavors to finish, romantic stories. Her characters have dirty mouths, dirty minds, and love their happy endings.
